A Longterm vs. Temporary Solution
Transform Your Body, Not Just Your Symptoms.
Achieve Lasting Pain Relief with the Egoscue Method.
Simple, Effective Exercises
Hill Country Posture Therapy uses the Egoscue Method which is a drug and surgery free, holistic path to pain relief and better movement.
Inspired by principles similar to yoga and other mindful body practices, our method focuses on gentle exercises that restore balance and alignment in the body, addressing the root causes of pain rather than just temporarily masking its symptoms.
By reeducating muscles and improving posture, we help clients achieve lasting relief and enhanced well-being. Many experience noticeable improvements from the very first session.
Therapy Process
The therapy process starts with a free initial consultation to determine the alignment of your body. Photos are taken proprietary software is used to determine your treatment plan. Your overall posture is evaluated, and a menu of exercises is created specifically designed for you.
Exercises are performed at home with the use of our intuitive mobile app.
With feedback from you about your progress, as well as ongoing evaluation of your posture, your exercises will change weekly. As you learn to develop long-term pain relief, weekly sessions titrate, and individuals have the option to choose a maintenance plan.
Trusted Experience
Carl has training and background as a Cycling Coach and has enjoyed mountain bike racing. He has also participated in several road bike events as both cyclist and volunteer, and completed a triathlon in DFW.
A mentor introduced him to Egoscue Therapy in 2006 to address his own pain from disc issues causing debilitating nerve pain and to help improve his posture. He has been a Certified Posture Therapist since 2018 and has worked at the Egoscue Clinic in Houston. His clients lead active lifestyles that are interrupted by injury and/or pain. He works with individuals of all ages—kids, athletes, business owners, and retirees, to name a few.
“I don’t usually trust niche healthcare approaches like chiropractic care, but I was drawn to the Egoscue Method because it reminded me of yoga—something I’ve practiced for years with great results. Carl at Hill Country Posture Therapy made the experience even better with his calm, thoughtful approach. He took his time, asked insightful questions, studied my posture, and provided targeted exercises with clear guidance. I appreciated how thorough and personalized the process was, and I believe more people should understand that long-term bodywork like this far outweighs the quick fixes of shots and surgeries.”
